Book Snap #10:

Title: Difficult Women Author: Roxane Gay

Deep, powerful writing about complex, riveting female characters. Roxane Gay’s non fiction writing is powerful and academic– her fiction is compelling and rich.

Book Snap #9:

Title: Britt-Marie Was Here Author: Fredrik Backman

Date Read: April 2, 2018.
Two Snaps.
Third I’ve read by this author. He does not disappoint. Great story about second chances.

If you are reading his books in order: readers will remember Britt-Marie as the “nag-bag” from My Grandmother Sends Her Regrets and Apologies. I did not read them in order.

Book Snap #8:

Title: Erotic Stories for Punjabi Widows Author: Balli Kaur Jaswal

Couldn’t wait for my book club to discuss this one! An irreverent look at: age, sexuality, feminism and religion. A great read.
